Major Responsibilities & Duties:
- Assist with preparation of non audited annual financial statements across a diverse range of clients
- Manage a portfolio of clients which will include being a principal contact and co-ordination point in the performance and delivery of accounting and tax compliance services including:
– preparation of financial statements
– corporate tax compliance
– company secretarial compliance
– Payroll
– VAT
- Assist with Income tax compliance to include preparation of accounts, preparation of Income tax returns (Form11), liaising with clients and filing of returns
- Support and assist with the learning, development and training of junior staff
- Working closely with the management team to assist in the growth and expansion of the firm’s client base
- Provide a dedicated and responsive professional service to existing clients
- Enhance the reporting and analysis we provide to our clients
Requirements & Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Essential
- Qualified CPA or equivalent
- A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
- Good working knowledge of the application of Accounting standards, in particular FRS102
- Detail oriented with a strong level of accuracy in aspects of accountancy including file preparation, reporting and communication.
- Experience in supervising staff.
- Experience with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, Relate, Surf and/or other similar product
- High degree of computer literacy, including extensive knowledge in Microsoft Office and accounting software

- Experience with multi-company businesses.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented individual
- Experience in expanding, fast growing organisations.
- Ability to multi-task and set daily, weekly and monthly priorities.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of Company Secretarial compliance.
